Tuition For Kids
Today Valerie came to my house for tuition. Just October she had finished her Secondary One examinations and now I am teaching her Secondary Two's Maths. Time really flies.
I started giving tuition when I had completed my GCE 'O' level. While waiting for results, I started home tuition. Being green and new in the working society, I signed up as tutor in various tuition agencies during those days. The tuition agencies will match your requirements with available students. If they had any opportunities, they would call me. I had some assignments and soon I was visiting homes, giving private home tuition to kids. It was not worthwhile to register with tuition agencies. At the end of the month, I need to pay the tuition agencies 50% of my earnings, the tuition fees.
Soon, I start my own home tuition services. I printed flyers and I went to various blocks around my neighbourhood to give out flyers. My niece and nephew were very small. They gave me a helping hand too. During those days, I received many phone calls. Soon, my schedule was very tight. I had groups of tuition, both at home and visiting homes.
I stopped tuition when I was in the college. After GCE 'A' Level was finished, I had relief teaching in the schools. I had private tuition again. During universities day, I had relief teaching also whenever there are opportunities. Throughout my universities' day, I had group tuition for kids at home. They were mostly Primary Kids. But I have a few Secondary Kids too.
